This week the NASCAR dog and pony show is in Bristol. This is a Saturday night race I believe. Short track racing and lets see if we get any in-the-pits fights.

About time for the second best motorsports event of the season, the night race at the world's fastest half mile in Bristol. Opel wheeled pussies can't handle the high banked short tracks where rubbin truly is racin.

It's second only to the Southern 500 at Darlington, SC, where I'll be in attendance in two weeks.

I cleared my schedule tonight. No parties, no poker, no karaoke, and I'm stickin to just good ole Budweiser tonight in my show of support for my favorite driver, Kevin Harvick, who is sponsored by Budweiser.

Let this be a race to remember.

And may the tempers flare after 500 laps in Thunder Valley in the mountains of God's country in east Tennessee.

If Logano wins he should thank the field for letting him hit them repeatedly and not wrecking him.

I'll take second considering the two pit road penalties. Just couldn't get close enough to move Logano for the win.

We're coming up on Harvick's better tracks in Darlington and Richmond, and of course Chicago and Kansas.

I like where he stands heading into the Chase. Shaping up a lot like last season for him.
