I understand & agree.

I too believe a change or two needs to take place. Fuck Sipple; you don't base who stay's and goes on yer record. You base it on there performance: recent and past.

If it were me, it'd be bye James.....

If he's not gonna let anyone go, he needs to send a couple of coaches off to some other schools in the off-season to see how they do things.

Dobson and Cotton would be a good start.

Osborne used to do it.

Dobson needs to go. What ever he is doing it ain't working. Our lines get manhandled and have since he's been here.
I would start there now since he is the only one that can work with them over the off season. I wouldn't be afraid of mid season changes after that if needed.

Mid season changes? Do you mean, mid season next year conference play, if still getting man handled er what?

Maybe he just needs to alter the program regiment that are specific for the lines tho.

The other positions seem ok.

I guess the LB's could use some work, but I don't know how much of that is due to confusion as opposed to strength.

Cotton definitely needs to learn a thing or two about pass blocking techniques.

Yeah, but he doesn't even need to wait for conference play. IF he gets a new S&C coach working these guys over the summer and you don't see a change then make the changes you need to make.

One thing I held to strongly when I was in management was when I'd see something that needs changed you don't wait to act. You act quickly and decisively. If you allow problems to exist they are only harder to get rid of as time goes on.

And I'm only saying to wait to change Cotton because I'm not sure he's the problem. I'd give him the benefit of the doubt because our guys are getting blown off the line on both sides.

So, get rid of Dobson now?

I probably would.

He's had 5 years.

He had no prior experience leading a Strength and Conditioning program.

The O'line has always been a problem, but has improved in run blocking. That improvement running may be a product of having a multiple offense though.

The D'line problem surfaced (and has lingered) after Suh left.

Bo is on record stating that when he arrived, he saw strength in Suh that he'd never seen before. He just needed work on technique.

Dobson (who arrived at the same time as Bo) takes credit for developing Suh in his Bio, but Suh had that natural strength before Dobson got here.

I'd only wait, if I didn't have anybodyelse to fill the shoes. If I thought I had a better candidate waiting for bowl end. I wouldn't wait, I'd bring 'em in right away, if it worked out for both parties involved.
