Injury update

Two Lions were knocked out of the game last night.

Waddle - sprained calf
Bentley - feared ACL

*Quin left briefly with cramps, but returned.

Bentley most likely headed to IR. Opens up a spot for us to bring in Champ. I also think they release a receiver, and bring in Chris Clemons

Lawson looked like an immediate upgrade to Bentley.


I didn't see him in any shots as his WR caught the ball and sped away, and I didn't see him get called for any penalties.


I think if Bentley goes on IR we'll obviously bring in another CB, but I think we'd release Daryl Tapp if we sign Clemons at safety (which we should).

Well bentley, green, and greenwood all gone.....thats why u take a CB sometimes in the first....this teams loaded on offense..

Waddle suffered a calf injury in Monday night’s season-opening 35-14 win over the New York Giants. His backup, Corey Hilliard, finished the game despite a sprained ankle.

Corey Hilliard, who played most of Monday night’s season-opening win against the New York Giants at right tackle in place of starter LaAdrian Waddle, suffered a Lisfranc injury and torn ligaments in his right foot that are expected to sideline him for the rest of the season.

They re-signed Reynolds this morning, but he's a guard. Tough break for Hilliard. Certainly problematic if Waddle can't go Sunday.

The giants offense was so awful the lions could have trotted anybody out there and they would have been fine. The giants offense looked like detroits offense in the past. Botched plays, multiple dropped passes, no running game whatsoever and two turnovers.

Bentleys done. They can add him to the list of busts. Looks like broyles can for sure be added to list as well. Why was he inactive? Is he injured, or is everyone else better? If hes getting the leshoure treatment this season, hes as good as gone as well.
