Even though it has been the 3 worst teams in the NFL they beat, the fact is the beat them handily. That is something.

However, this team could not afford a rash of injuries. Yes, every team has injury issues, but I don't think this team with a KC in the division can afford key injuries.

Right now specifically the OL has me most concerned. OL is that important to me. This OL fully healthy was above average. Upper half of the league. Not top 5 mind you, but when fully healthy above average.

Now with Risner down....among others. Combine that with the others from Jeudy to Hamler and DBs being injured.

Not even to the 4th game and the tomato can opponents are over. The injuries I fear will be a problem. Hoping it doesn't lead to a coaching change cause I like their old school way of doing things.

We should be concerned we lose 2 players every game it seems. I think we can hold on as is but, we are dangling on the edge we can't afford anymore issues injury wise until bye week.

As long as Muti and Meinerz continue to improve with their starter opportunity - the 1st wave of injuries can be handled by this Bronco's team. Their is a tipping point -where additional injuries can be crushing. Fortunately, Paton has the team with significant depth. Paton also seems to know - where the Practice Squad talent is around the league.

Yes to all. Great analysis. Denver has not been very good at the back of the roster. This wave can be handled by better back end but at some point the back end is the back end for a reason

Any word on Risner? That bothers me. As as Chubb injury who I really wanted him against Mahomes.

Hamler will be hard to replace. He " different" than all the other WRs.

Albright was saying that Risner is 50/50, and Glasgow is less likely.

Meinerz really looked good to me for his first NFL action last week. He will be green, but he is not out maned in the NFL trenches. In fact, IMO - he looks better than Muti.

KC is 1-2, with a putrid defense. They aren't the threat they were 2 years ago. Im more concerned about the Ravens, Browns and Raiders/Chargers.
