Gearrin allows 2 of 2 to score tonight. He can NOT be brought in with runners on. He can NOT!

I was listening to the game yesterday as I drove home from Fresno. I almost wanted Justin Upton to hit a home run off Gearrin just so his ERA would go up. I haven't looked at any numbers to support this, but I feel like he has the most deceptive ERA of a reliever in a long time. He has been a lot worse than his ERA indicates. Why does Bochy continue to bring him in in the middle of the inning like that?
