With regards to Indy.....

Do you guys think it's just a lack of depth? They've had a few significant injuries and have not played well at all after the injuries. Two blow-outs against teams *considered* the third and fourth best teams in the NFC West -- This after beating the top two teams. And they should have lost in Houston..... That game swung on the Kubiak halftime incident. They even looked terrible for half the game in Tennessee.

The Wayne injury is huge.

Hilton is a nice # 2 who can blow the top off of coverage. But without Wayne that's a weak WR corps overall.

I thought Luck could overcome the deficiencies because of his talent, but he's struggling

They have the same problem they had when Manning was their QB. They either have a terrible scouting department or their GM this time around is just as bad as their previous GM (and judging by the Richardson trade, that may be the case). Manning made them look formidable before, and now Luck is making them seem decent in a much worse AFC.

So, looking at it from top to bottom, they've never had a great deal of talent on the roster anywhere on the field, but the little they did have has been decimated by injuries. So, yes depth is a big issue for them.

Yeah.... I'd say it's odd for a good team to get blown out even 'once' in a season.... To get blown out twice in four games does not inspire confidence. Lucky for them they play in a lousy division. Six of their games were/are against the Titans, Jags, and Texans. Even with their struggles, they only have two difficult games the rest of the way (@Bengals and @Chiefs). They probably finish 10-6 by default and if they steal one of those two on the road, they might be the second seed.

I thought Indy would be about 6-10, or 7-9 this year, I really felt that Arians was the reason for their success last year. Arizona is clearly benefiting from him.
I think the wayne injury and the complete ineffectiveness of Richardson will be their downfall fir this year.

I think they're going to be a perennial one and done team until they get more talent around luck

I didn't expect much of them either..... But then they beat three of the better teams in the league. They're an odd bunch. I think Andrew Luck is going to be great though.

The Patriots just aren't very good. They're signature win of the season was against New Orleans -- And you could easily make the case that New Orleans is a very pedestrian team away from the Superdome.

They couldn't beat us on a day that Bad Andy started.

But..... They still get to play the Texans, Dolphins, Browns, and Bills. There one remaining 'difficult' game is in Baltimore. Even with a loss tonight, they still could easily end up with 11 wins.

That's why we have to get to 11. And one of the wins must be over Indy.

The state of the AFC…despite all of that, a NE loss tonight and the Colts still hold that 2nd spot.

I hate to say this, but the team that scares me the most in the playoffs is the, gulp, Steelers. They started out playing so poorly and now they are on a nice little run, and if they make the playoffs they will be red hot. And aside from last year's defensive struggle, how often do we show up and play a good game against them? I'm afraid it will be 2005 all over again, minus the second snap ACL injury.

Reading that schedule the Pats should go 13-3 with a head to head win over Denver if it comes down to a tie breaker.

They go from looking like the 4th seed to very possibly the 1st seed in a little over a half of football. it's amazing how fluid the NFL playoff picture is this year
