Great to see Mardy out there today.

Went out in 3 sets though.

Love Indian Wells slightly more than Miami only because I get to see more tennis since Im on the East Coast. I get home in the middle of the day session
Mardy Fish? Is he officially back?

Serena, who never gets emotional before matches, could not hold back her tears when she heard the crowd cheering for her. They were raucous!

She also signed up for on-court coaching, which she NEVER does. She must have thought there might be a need for some support.

So glad to see her back at IW.
Wow.

Milos played exactly how a big guy should play against Nadal. And to say he is all serve and no movement guy is totally wrong. He didn't break Nadal's serve twice with a serve. He did that by returning well and taking advantage of Nadal's lapse.
Yeah, it was a good match.

i've never seen nole double fault 3 times in a tiebreak

crazy match
During the tiebreak:

FED misses a normal swinging volley on his serve.

Djokovic double faults, to even it at 3 all.

FED misses a normal overhead on his serve.

Djokovic double faults, to even it at 5 all.

FED goes on to win the tiebreak!

Even though the women's match wasn't nearly as good as this one. What a treat for the fans today to see both finals go the distance.

I enjoyed both Finals.

The Women's had 18 breaks of serve, but those two players aren't known for their serve, so it's not surprising.

The fact that fans got to see 2 3-set matches, was a good day for the fans.

And the Men's Finals had two legends.

pretty good final week of IW

glad that serena's okay for miami. roger's at a point in his career where he knows which tournaments he should skip to get himself ready for majors. glad the ATP gives guys his age with his time in service the ability to skip some masters 1000 tournaments without penalty.
Where does it say that he doesn't have a penalty?

He loses the chance to get 1000 points, right?

And since he made the QF last year, he loses those points, right?
