It was an act of terrorism domestic or foreign. The thing is we better start paying more attention to it because this could be a walk in the park if some rouge nut job gets hold of a dirty bomb or nuke. terrorism is what it is, call it that and most importantly we better deal with it.

Hard to find anything positive in a situation like this but they do tend to bring out the best in those 98%. Also as horrible as this was, it could have been much worse. Obviously it could have been much better too if it never happened in the first place.

Was a bit worried they might not postpone the game seeing as how we are already into what is normally the 1st round of the playoffs and the schedule is condensed as it is. Glad they did though. Not just for safety reasons but I imagine there will be a lot of people (players, arena staff, fans, media, police etc.) that just won't want any part of a game tonight.

Your country isn't alone either. Canadian military personnel in Afghanistan will no longer be getting danger pay while stationed there.

I say if you won't pay them danger pay then bring them home. I'm sure PM Harper will listen of course.

I send my best to those that are injured and hope the best for them. As far as the politics I will keep my fucking mouth shut, obviously I've struck a few nerves but deserve it because I usually don't talk politics for that reason.
