Corgan just sold his LA home for 4 million dollars, is auctioning off his vintage music gear and is reportedly reuniting his original band to do a Siamese Dream tour next year. For people who aren't familiar with 90s alternative rock, Corgan has spent the last 20 years making strange career moves and more or less sabatoging his own legacy. Reuniting his band for a SD tour is the only card he has left to make a ton of money in a short period of time.
This is all speculation but don't be shocked if he's ready to go all in on a big investment here.

Don't know how much he has left though with him just recently buying the NWA, that deal still isn't 100% done so we don't know how much he still owes for that.

That was for all intents and purposes just a brand name. If he spent huge money on a defunct wrestling companys he got ripped off. Whoever owns GFW gets a TV deal, a tape library etc. That's a huge investment. I would say that could come in handy if he want to take over GFW and call some of the championship by the nwa name.

Anthem isn't worse than Dixie. Crew members are actually getting paid on time now.

That is a good point.

Yeah, at least, as far as I know, none of the wrestlers in the Anthem Era have applied for food stamps.

Technically Jeff Jarrett still owns GFW as Anthem never legally purchased it. So yes Anthem has re-branded their entire company using what they don't own so if they pull out everyone is screwed.

Hell if Jarrett wanted too he could leave and take everything GFW related away and that would really screw Anthem.

Good point. Corgan could use nwa as a new name for the Fed if GFW is still owned by a Jarrett. If someone else takes it over they could go back to Impact.

PWInsider reported that Impact Wrestling announced on twitter today (23 Oct) that it has terminated it's business relationship with Jeff Jarrett and Global Force Entertainment Inc. effective immediately.

Ricochet is dumb as fuck if he signs with Impact. If he's not going to WWE (where I think he'll end up), he'd be much better off doing the NJPW/ROH double dip like Cody Rhodes and the Young Bucks do
I don't know, I think it could potentially be a great move for both sides. If Impact offers him a huge deal and makes him the feature star of their company I don't know why he should turn i
that down.
Someone like Neville would be an exception but as a general rule I think Impact would be better off using their funds on big name name Indy talent over ex WWE stars. This could be a game-changer for them.
With that said I agree he's likely going to the WWE.

Saw Slamaverisy( sp) last night.

I like the direction it is going. Recommend 5 of the matches on the card.

But Aries over moose is a head scratcher

Moose deserved to win with all of the hype around him with this match IMO

I think the video packages that outlined Moose's career and life were very well done, but Impact needs someone likes Aries as their World Champion right now. Great talker and great in-ring worker.

Moose has developed into a very good hand, but it would have been a bad decision to have Moose go over last night.

The professional wrestling world knew Brian Christopher Lawler as an intensely brash but fun-loving, larger-than-life personality.

The former WWE star and son of the legendary Jerry “The King” Lawler, he was never one to hold anything back in the ring. Lawler’s popularity was due in large part to the boundless charisma he displayed to scores of fans.

Few knew that the performer who reached the height of his popularity in the late 1990s under the “Grandmaster Sexay’” moniker was a mirror image of who Lawler was away from the spotlight.

When Matt Bailey was 5, he was introduced to Lawler and his brother, Kevin. The trio eventually helped create the Neighborhood Wrestling Association as youngsters growing up in Memphis.

“His wrestling character wasn’t an act,” Bailey said. “That’s who he was. And it enabled his light to shine beyond our neighborhood. Great spirit. Great showman.”

I understand it from Impact's POV but I fail to see how this helps WWE at all unless they are just that desperate for more network content.
I figure it's probably for the network or if they want to do specials for some people like Joe, Styles, etc... they have a lot more footage that they could use. Also, I'll never turn down watching any of those Joe/Styles/Daniels 3 way matches from 10 years or so again.
