I'm starting to think the AFC North is the best division in football

It's been a top division for the last few years. I wouldn't be shocked if it took over the top spot from the NFC West. But I still think Arizona will push the NFC West over the top this year. Lots of talent on that team.

Funny how everyone is so suddenly high on the Bengals, but were Mother Fucking Dalton just months ago!

The NFC West has the edge right now. The Steelers are much worse than people thought going into the season. Without a strong Steelers team the AFC North isn't close to being the best division in football.

Have you watched San Fran play? They have looked awful in every single game. If Tony Romo wasn't Tony Romo in week 1, they would be 0-3 staring at 0-4

They stopped the No. 1 offense from scoring a single offensive TD yesterday. If not for several ST and defensive scores, the Eagles would have been shutout.

The NFC West is better than the AFC North. The Steelers just lost at home to the Bucs! Right now I'd also take the AFC West over the AFC North.

Last 10 years AFCN has been the best in AFC , but last season and so far this year with play of SD give them the edge. Also agree that NFCW is the best last few years

Friend, i appreciate the kind thoughts but pittsburgh is NOT better than san fran, i dont care what the records are right now

Agreed...Idk about the reverse of that either, but even with the injuries SF DEF is better than PIT's, but the Steeler OFC is better than 49ers.

They would play to a draw with 50 penalties!!

It's funny how most of the losses from the AFCN are from their own division. But yeah, I'm not taking too much away from the Steelers loss from the Bucs or the Ravens huge win against the Panthers (who I thought would improve coming into '14). I think it's still too early to tell who is the best division. The Ravens look better than I expected, though.

OP also mentioned that Bengals and Ravens are two of the top 4 teams in the AFC, well, I'd say AZ and Seattle are the top 2 in the NFC. And they both beat the two teams who I'm assuming would round out in the top 4 list of best teams in the Chargers and Broncos, respectively.

AFC North and AFC West are pretty comparable. Cleveland is a lot better than Oakland, but Denver is the class of the AFC still IMO and SD is playing really well too. Both those divisions are weaker than the NFC west though.

^ that.

Also agree with the point about not drawing too strong a conclusion about Pittsburgh from its loss to TB yesterday. Saw a highlight of Antonio Brown dropping what looked like a sure TD. That doesn't happen very often.

NFCN appears to be the most confusing in the league. You could probably add NFCS to that category.

I'm not convinced the 'Hawks are that much better than the Bengals this year. On a neutral site or in Cincy, I'd take the Bengals.

Have you bumped your head, dude ?.....Cincy is playing good but they have to learn to win their 1st playoff game before they can be compared to World Champions.....
A 3-0 season record doesn't qualify you......Let's see how they look against NE this week before you book your SB trip....

Eyeball test looks like Detroit has a small edge on everyone else who is right there. There might be 3 teams around 8-8 in that division

They don't quite have the offense down yet. If they figure it out I'll be a little more confident. After losing 3 defensive players to IR already, they surely can't afford anymore injuries. Defense has looked great though.

I'll agree with this. Oakland really brings the AFC West down.

Yep this division is the best as I suspected

8 games in for all 4 teams and everyteam in the division currently has 5 wins.

No division is better from top to bottom.

Other divisions may have a better top team or even top 2 teams but from 1-4, no division is better

Eh, I think we are going to see a mean regression from Pitt and Cleveland soon.

Pittsburgh next 2 games after this game

@ NYJ
@ TENN

Cleveland I can see possibly happening but still think they finish with 8 or 9 wins
