As I'm watching this, I honestly think we probably win this game if Taylor doesn't throw the first 2 interceptions that he throws in the first half.

Obviously one of them was a pick 6.........and the 2nd one was thrown deep in our own territory which gave them another freebie....

I think when he throws the 2nd one the entire team loses momentum. Even though we drove down the field and scored again, it seems like the Defense lost a lot of confidence at that point.......kinda like they didn't trust him.

We may have led something more like 31-14 at half time without those 2 picks.......instead we trailed 24-35......

It may seem crazy, but I am serious. It goes to show that there isn't any leadership on our Defense though. The wheels started coming off for the Defense right after Taylor threw that 2nd pick, and they never recovered after that.

while the picks may have been the cause, i place the blame squarely on the D. it shouldn't matter what situation they are in, they should come out and play hard. in fact, they should get more pumped up when our QB is struggling (see 09).

My thinking is, I don't honestly know if the 2nd half turns out the way it does if not for those 2 interceptions in the first half........

I think we end up taking all of the momentum to the locker room instead at halftime, come out and score to start the 2nd half just like we did, and Ohio State instead is in our position.

Those 2 interceptions killed us in my opinion.......it's hard when the main leader of your team is spotting a team 14 points in the first half after you did a pretty decent job as a Defense to start the game....

yes, I was aware of that, and is what pissed me off how they can shut them down 3 and out for 20 minutes, and can't fucking stop them at all for the next 40 minutes.....

I would hope the defense would say we got your back dude if you throw two picks, and we will kick their ass for you......

I mean, we're talking about Ohio State for shit sake.......one of the most storied programs in all of College Football........and they set their new attendance record over Nebraska coming to town.

I mean, Michigan fans may not travel quite as well as Nebraska fans, but that is not a very far jaunt over to Columbus, OH from Ann Arbor...........and it's one of the biggest rivalries in all of College Football.

I'm just sayin, seriously........how often does it seem like teams don't show up to play against us?? Not very often. I see probably 30 or more teams every single Saturday who don't show up to play....but it's never that way against us. We have a damn battle on our hands every single week.

I like it that way though.

really the attendance record shit is just that...bullshit. for every OSU-Michigan game, every seat is sold. but in the attendance number, there are so many other factors to consider.

You're disregarding the "new" factor. Michigan and Ohio State have played for years, and there is no incentive on a mass scale to invade each others stadiums. Not every Michigan fan is going to flock to Columbus and vice versa because they play every year.

Every huge matchup is new to us and new to them. Not only is Husker fan going to Columbus, Ohio St fans are saying this is the first ever conference game against the Huskers here....

I'm glad we travel well and the conference fans are excited to see us in the conference.....It's all good sir......and I'm sure we have a little extra target on our back being the "new kid" and I like that.....
