Sounds like a load of crap to me (Jagr). He signed in Phillyl because he's real excited about what they did in the offseason? What, trading their two best centers? He can sign where he wants and I hope he's happy and does well in Philly, but playing dumb and acting like you're not trying to fuck with the Pens organization is something I see right through.

This is par for the course with a lot of the Penguin homers.

I mean this is a fambase that thought Marian Hossa, a deadline deal expiring contract, owed them something and was a Judas for leaving. Ratonal thought is an endangered species among the Penguins talking heads. I live here and most if my educated Penguin fan friends sit back and laugh about it with me.

That being said, it has been a fun weekend in Pittsburgh on the radio

When did we lose Giroux and Briere?

What will happen if Jagr scores a goal at the Consol Energy Center and out of habit salutes the crowd?

Did I compare the two?

No. You ignorant wretch. I did not.

I said your fans think that anyone that ever spent a week in Pittsburgh owes you. Hossa was the extreme example. Jagr signed for more money elsewhere, and the Pens fans are heartbroken and have a new top enemy. Same story over and over again. The irrational Pens faithful (not all of them) always have to feel slighted.

Control those hormones you hateful little spazz....

It pisses me off that people act like we're being delusional. Did he string Mario and Shero along for two weeks? Yes, he did.

He was a legend here and one of the best players of all time. Maybe we wouldn't have thought he owed us something...you know...if he didn't come out and fucking say he did. That's not even the point though. Like I said, people would have been disappointed if he had signed in Detroit or Montreal, but it wouldn't have been a middle finger to the organization. Signing with the Flyers was.

You're being biased if you're going to sit there and say this is a completely normal situation that happens every free agency. It's a unique circumstance and Pens fans have a right to be pissed.

It's not just the Pens-Flyers. Like I said, I'm not really mad at Talbot because I do understand it's a business. It's the way it all went down. And since you're so in tune to the Pittsburgh media, you should be better informed about why people are so mad.

The Internet expiration for 46 to reply ran out. I hearby declare myself official winner of the argument. For my victory, I expect numerous gifs.

Edit: Oh, he conceded officially. That makes things easier.
