Should I wear my #8 Kobe shirt that I wore to the first Lakers game he started in Boston or should I wear his #24 jersey I wore during the NBA finals in 2010? I am thinking the #8 jersey to round it out, but I am a 4xl now and that shirt is a 2xl. I wonder if it would be worth it to squeeze into it. I would like to try and get him to sign it to hang on my man cave wall. (Any advice on how to do that? Never asked for an autograph before) I will be in an hour earlier than most people cause I am in one of the suites.

Anyway it is going to be fun as hell. I was just reminiscing about the first game I saw him play with Shaq in person. It feels like yesterday but was probably 18 years ago. I am all about the tanking for the draft pick, but this is one game I hope they win and Kobe goes off in style.

If you're over 30. Go with a Lakers t-shirt or sweatshirt, not a jersey. Take one or both jersey's with you to see if you can get them signed. I've never asked for an autograph at an arena, but with suite tickets, you might be able to get down by the court and get his attention for an autograph. The other option is to see if you can find out where the players parking lot is/where the team bus is and wait there after the game to see if you can get an autograph. You could have a long wait though considering after game interviews, etc.

Go with the jersey that fits

Have fun man. It will be curious to see how many Lakers fans are there representing. 10 years ago there were lots of them chanting MVP for Kobe. Loved that. MVP chants for a Lakers player at the Gahhhdin!

Both. Wear the 8 for the 1st half and 24 for the 2nd.

Oh, and get really wasted and run on to the court with a SportsHoopla sign. I want to see "Drunk Lakers fan makes a scene" on Deadspin

Celtic's rebuilding is going better than the Lakers unfortunately.

I heard they gave him a really cool gift too. A picture of him on the old parquet floor from Boston Garden with all of the dates that he's played in Boston and a piece of the old parquet floor.

I'll write up what I saw tomorrow when I get back home. But it was an awesome night. Great seeing him put the game away and dunking. Sad seeing him trying to lose up his shoulder. It looks like he reinjured it on the dunk. On the bench and during timeouts hhe was rubbing and stretching it out after the dunk. So many Lakers fans it was crazy. I met a couple who drove from Syracuse NY to watch the game. That is about a 10 hour drive through snow and ice.

Clearly @Hangman is the Lakers good luck charm. He shows up to the game, the team wins. It's science. Mind showing up on lottery night?

I'm gonna break shit if they end up with the #1 pick this year. They have the rights to swap picks with the awful Nets.

Someone needs to tell him that he's too old for that shit. Just make the layup.

Posted similar on the main board, but leave it to the Celtics fans to give Kobe the perfect sendoff. They cheer him during the introductions, boo him when he gets the ball during the game and then cheer and chant his name after the game is over and he's walking off their court for the last time.

Kobe said that when they started booing him he thought: "Aw, I'm home."

So, all those picks their fans were bragging about are really working out for the Celtics aren't they?
