Hahaha, malaria for one and all! I didn't get that, just...well "water poisoning" if you catch my drift (not cool when your toliet is a hole in the ground that smells like death). I do have some nice volcanic rock from Pacaya! It was AWESOME! And I was in Guatemala for those that don't know. So out of the hockey loop though, got some catching up to do.

Are you saying you drank the water? I thought many of us warned you? When I visited the Philippines, it was bottled water only. When I got drinks in a glass, no ice. Sorry you had to go through that (I'm giggling a little inside).

We were careful. Bottled water, jugs of water, etc. But one day two of us got sick. Still not sure how that happened honestly. It sucked though. I was dangerously dehydrated that day, then the next day we climbed a volcano. I proudly say I MADE IT though

I would've poo'd my pants. I loved my experience, and I miss it, but the idea of being stuck there is scary as heck.

Yeah, it was scary for me too. And to top it off, I was feeling sick that day. But, it all worked out.

Yeah, it was scary for me too. And to top it off, I was feeling sick that day. But, it all worked out.

I didn't lose my tickets, but can you imagine what was going throw my head when I got to the hotel my first day in Manila and realized I left my travelers checks at home?

I can sympathize with the stomach problems. Had it in Delhi. Almost missed my flight home because I had to run to the other side of the airport to use the bathroom. Ugghh.
