maybe Arian Foster should retire.

I can see how that can rub some people the wrong way, but he's right. Family comes first.
It's the second half of the quote.....win for an "owner".
If all you think winning is for the owner instead of yourself and your teammates, you are in the wrong profession.
Foster, recalling his experience during the 2009 draft, said "somebody from the Seattle Seahawks" called him during the seventh round, presumably with the intent of drafting him. He described the conversation like this:
"They said, 'How do you feel about being picked?' And I was so upset at the time (at not being drafted earlier) -- and this is really bad -- I was so upset at the time that my attitude was like, 'Yeah, man. That'd be OK. Yeah.' And I wouldn't have picked me, either, honestly."
That is what he is referring to?? a bigger contract? I still don't know wtf he is talking about with that tweet.
"Change your family's future forever?" earning 4 mil in a year instead of 3 mil in year will "change" your "family's" future "forever"???
Absolutely! Can you imagine having 4 or 5 mil in your pocket? I bet you can't. I know I can't. You know who already can though? Arian Foster....Over 4-5 years, that's 4-5 million. That extra bit can go a long way.

Increasing your net worth by 20% when you already have much more that what you need to live comfortably will not "change your family's future." Arian Foster, just lets just call a spade a spade here. You want more money. Plain and simple. Nothing wrong with that. But trying to draw up sympathy for your cause like this is complete bullshit.

If I had 25 mil instead of 20 mil I really doubt I would feel the difference. I doubt Foster's family would feel the difference too, unless of course Arian is growing his family ala Shawn KempSure it will. When you're talking about your entire family's foreseeable future the difference between 20 mil and 25 mil is huge.
Everything else I agree with, Foster has always seemed like a tool.
But making more money is the name of the game, in any business.
