Looks like Giants/Saints would be our first matchup if the division leaders win, of course Giant will come back to SF base on them being the higher seed.

But the NFC wildcards, outside of Detroit aren't scary enough

The AFC looks great though for playoff viewers

I agree. The AFC has a few pretty good teams but nothing scary. With the emergence of the Niners and Lions the NFC has some pretty scary teams.

The Texans have the best record in their division. That means they are the AFC South champs. The Bengals has a better conference record , therefore they are in 1st place in that division making them the AFC North divisional champs. Both teams have the best records of the all AFC divisional champs therefore they are the top seeds. I believe wildcard teams can not have top seeds position regardless of their records

Yeah, I just hadn't paid much attention to AFC standings this season. In thinking about it, of course the 6-2 Bengals are there (though I don't expect that to last), and the Texans will win their division easily, just surprised they're the top-two right now.

Both the Bills and the Pats are 5-3 but the Pats are 2-1 in the Division and 4-2 in the conference while the Bills are 1-1 in the division and 3-2 in the conference.
