There are 40 hotels booked FULL, in and around Battle Creek and Kalamazoo, Mi (about an hour to an hour and 20 minutes southwest of East Lansing).

There are 15 hotels with limited availability. Some down to one room remaining. Many of those are $50/night econo-lodge type stuff.

I can only figure it's the Sea of Red, because Michigan is playing @ Rutgers on Saturday.

This is because the 19th Annual Michigan International Alpaca Fest is also on Saturday. Good luck finding room with that bad-boy in town.

There are only 5 hotels with vacancy left in Battle Creek (1 hr away from E. Lansing). On a scale of 1-5, one is a 2 star, the other four are 1 stars.

Per night they are anywhere from $34 - $60. Take your own sheets/pillows and don't touch anything.

Other than that you have to drive an additional 30 minutes to Kalamazoo where there are 7 hotels remaining. One is a 3 star, five are 2 stars, and one is a 1 star.

In all, 3 of the places are reporting they only have one room left.

I'm thinking at least 10,000 are making the trip.
