How about Bama and Georgia? If Minnesota wins this weekend, I think they jump Utah and possibly Oregon, and they should.

So you don't think playing Penn State at night in a white out can impact the outcome of a 1 score game by, instead, playing them at home? Michigan was a dropped pass in the end zone away from OT in that game under pretty rough away conditions. I'd be fairly confident we win that game at home.
Yes, that's why those claims are bullshit. Michigan has had eight 1 loss or no loss seasons since 1970. Unlike some teams, we just happened to do it in years where we didn't get "voted" the champion.
I'm still suspicious of Minnesota; I can't imagine a scenario where they come out of the Iowa and Wisconsin games without a loss. And then face OSU in the B10 title game. They're a 2-3 loss team when everything is all said and done before the bowl games. The first 8 games of their schedule they played just the easiest schedule possible. Their last four games are/were PSU, Iowa, Northwestern and Wisconsin. Let's not also forget this is a Minnesota team that barely escaped Fresno State in OT, only beat Georgia Southern by 3 points, beat South Dakota State by a TD, Purdue by a TD....so they're scraping by. I wouldn't be shocked if they got taken out by NW as well.
Let's see what some of the following Golden Gophers think:
Minnesota is like the annoying little brother who grew up after his freshman year and is now banging half the cheerleading squad. Git er done
Michigan fans begining to reak of insecurity. They've only had 3 really good games this year, and let's be honest; they were lucky to escape the PSU game with a win. Those 3 turnovers killed PSU; who had over 500 yards of offense but only ended up with 26 points.
But isnt Minnesotas playing much better now than in the begining? All those close wins were in the begining. You cant have it both ways.I don't know. It's the classic argument used by PSU a few years ago when Michigan dominated them early in the season, but they went on to win the B10. Michigan has been playing a lot better later in the season than we started. Minnesota also gets Wisconsin at home for the final game. I give Michigan a lot better chances of beating Wisconsin at home in the last game of the year than I did the 3rd or 4th game of the year at Wisconsin.
Here is a fun exercise grab the top 10 teams find their points for and against and then rate them (i already know the outcome) The results may shock and surprise some people. But isnt Minnesotas playing much better now than in the begining?
