Steroids aren't only for muscle building. First and foremost they promote body recovery, which allows someone to workout harder. Without the harder workouts it simply helps with recovery. Just because someone takes steroids doesn't mean they look like a body builder.

When you consider where he started, and his age, it is pretty clear that Brady has used nutrition and diet to radically remake his body and extend his career. Is it more than that? No idea. But of course, if it was somehow discovered that he was juicing all along, it would tarnish his legacy. I suspect many, if not most, NFL players are on something, but it still affects their reputations when the obvious comes out.

Brady hasn't been seriously injured since 2008 and he missed that entire year. No one knows what drugs or supplements he took during his recovery or rehab. Players generally take illegal drugs to get bigger and/or faster. WE all know Brady sure in hell is not faster.

The NFL watches you pee in the cup. They don't let players being tested go behind a closed door and do it. They watch the player pull his penis out of his shorts and witness the urine go from his body to the 8 oz cup. The player puts his john back and then both the player and the NFL Tester place an adhesive seal over the lid and initial the seal. Player first, then the tester. The NFL doesn't care how embarrassed or shy a player is, they watch every test from start to finish regardless of how long it takes anyone to pee. Believe it or not, Brady was tested 8 times during the 2016 season ad probably more last year.
