Does LSU still go to the NC? More importantly does that mean Alabama is a lock for it? If so, how funny two teams playing for the NC that did not win their conference and are both from the same conference.

Quiet frankly, even if LSU loses I still think they deserve to get a shot at the NC just becaues of how impressive they were and the gauntlet they had to run through to get there. I think a LSU loss hurts Alabama more simply because of those reasons, polls really going to pit two non conference champs against each other when LSU beat Alabama on the road? How can Bama go and not LSU?

Either way, no matter what goes on in the SEC champ game I see an LSU and if Okie State can beat Oklahoma an Okie state/LSU NCG.

The simple fact that LSU beat Bama and if Bama goes to teh NCG it is all in their favor since they get an extra weeks of rest and more time to prepare, etc. for the Tigers is IMO a complete unfair advantage to a team that lost.

I did kinda agree with this a bit, but then I heard that no one is practicing for anything until the bowl games are set. Nobody knows if the voters will change their minds or how the Okie st. vs OU game will turn out. As far as more time to rest goes, with the NC game being as far away as it is, I"m not sure this week really matters.

i agree there...the only thing i see where LSU is at the disadvantage is if they suffer any injuries this weekend against UGA...but as far as normal wear and tear from a game, i think they will be fine

Or if any key players are ruled ineligible because of academic problems.

Score differentials are important also. Suppose LSU got blown out? Not very likely, but just assume. Also Oklahoma St wins by 20. Then it would be Alabama and Okie St.

If LSU loses by a couple of points and Okie Jr wins by a couple than I think Okie Jr might get the vote of those who don't want a rematch.

IF Georgia continues to play this well and wins this game then I see Okie State in a great shape to go to the NCG and face LSU.

If LSU loses this game I think that is the worse thing for Alabama's NCG hopes. Because a 1 loss LSU team will go over 1 loss Bama. And the BCS IMO is not going to send two non conference champs to the NCG, especially from the same conference.

So Alabama has to be big LSU fans today, Okie State has to be big Georgia fans.

If LSU loses this game, it won't be a question if LSU and Alabama will still go to the NCG. Georgia would get the automatic bid, so either Alabama or LSU will see BCS.

I don't think LSU looks like the same team with Jefferson starting, not against a competent defense.

Funny how Alabama went from being a lock for the BCS CG 3 hours ago, to, as a result of LSU's offensive offense today, possibly getting pushed out of the BCS all together
