Ideas For New Banner

I say absolutely not to any current players.

The only exception I could make is if we did a representation of the top scorer in each franchise's history and the all-time leading scorer is a current player.

I'd do something like the Cup in the middle and the team logos surrounding it. Maybe superimpose the Kings logo over the base of the Cup for this season. Update each season (as needed) with the Cup winner.

I like the Cup idea with the current winners on it if someone has the skills to do so.

I think a switch up to a banner with players would be cool. I made one on the Caps board (if you want to see it) that has new players and old ones that I could replicate for the NHL or that someone else could do. It would be kinda cool to have legends on one side of the banner (mabye pick a new decade each year) and then the current crop of award winners - Hart, Vezina, Richard, Lindsay, Ross, Byng, and Norris - on the other side.

A banner contest might be fun and I think we have 6-8 people in here that would submit an entry.

Maybe Comeds should just paint a banner for SportsHoopla on the side of his house and then photograph it and we'll use that.

If nothing else, it seems like the easiest solution.
