I would honestly like to be able to say we cant get any worse from this point... But me and fate dont roll like that. I tempt her, and she finds a way to make me regret it.

HAslett was actually better than Barry. He had LESS talent, and we still didnt look this bad.
I keep focusing on both Breeland & P Smith appearing to regress this season. Call it Barry or his assistants - doesn't matter - it falls on him ultimately.

This worries me since the same could happen w/Cravens & any future picks. Sure they need to add more talent on D but it is beginning to look more like they also need a new defensive staff as part of the rebuild.

Having a hard time seeing it any other way

You know its getting close to Christmas when we are all mostly in an agreeing mood despite the team seeming hell bent on squandering what was looking like a promising season.

As for Barry and player progression... and to a degree I see this with Gruden as well. Too mant young guys who got by year one on raw talent, seem to go into year two and have the talent coached right out of them. Alot of them seem to be thinking more than reacting on the field. I see it more with the defense, but occasionally I see it with the 2nd and 3rd year guys on offense as well. Its just less apparent with the offense because they dont actually suck. Well except for in the Red Zone.

This is Washington Football...it REALLY is so typical. A guy who's is in large part KNOWN to have led a defensive team that contributed to an 0-fer season somewhere else gets hired here. Then, because he is now sporting the colors, gets some begin to plant seeds that sprout into giving him the benefit of doubt. While others correctly point out that the personnel sucks as well. Here's my question....ready?....are you sure?.....HOW IN THE HELL DID ANYONE EXPECT SOMETHING OTHER THAN WHAT WE GOT?
