Whaley said, "I need to get louder, I need to get more vocal. The guys couldn't hear me."

And Bo is backing that all up by saying that basically the majority of the game they didn't get anything communicated which led to multiple guys being out of position.

They're gonna get better........Whaley had never even played a down coming into this game......the defense was bound to make a ton of mistakes on week 1.

I think we'll see a big difference when Compton returns.....and in the mean time Whaley is going to learn to be louder, I can guarantee you the Pelinis will make sure of that.

I know everyone thinks Wash will be a cake walk...but lets not forget we have not done well in a LONG time with our first real tests of the season....especially on the road.

Shit I don't think Washington will be an easy task.........they went on the road and barely lost to BYU. That does not ease my concerns about that game....

Nebraska better not go there and take them lightly or I will be pissed.

I don't think we will take them lightly, Bo doesn't do that sort of stuff..But just on that one Saturday, with our first big road game and Jake Locker trying to do magical things in his SR year that one day Washington might just play a better game then Nebraska....It scares me because history proves we don't do well against our first test of the season.

I honestly think Bo is only thinking of Idaho right now and to see how well corrections are made from game 1 to game 2. After Idaho, then Bo will make sure we are loud enough for Seattle.

Pelinis don't exactly share injury info....... It could be something where Compton could have played- but why risk it against wku- and build depth...

So let me get this straight... Whaley was making checks and guys couldn't hear him, and no one thought at any point during the game to tell him to speak up? Because he talks like it's an easy fix: "Oh I just have to speak up more, no big deal". Yet he talks like it was a continuous problem throughout the game.

Never heard of a defense whos main weakness was that their MLB cant fuckin yell loud enough. Sounds like a load of B.S.
