Trading up to potentially land a player they could have had the same caliber guy if they'd just stayed at #8 and relaxed, mortgaging next year's draft in the process.

I expect this out of Buffalo and Cleveland so to see the Browns be on the other side of this coin is shocking.

Hard to believe. Especially with the guaranteed money they have invested already in QB.

I don't think any of the other QBs are at the level of Goff and Wentz this year. Lynch maybe, but he's definitely going to need to sit a year or two. If they wanted one of the two, they had to go get him. That said, why spend so much in free agency at the position, then mortgage your draft stock to go get yet another QB?

Looking back at this, I clearly underestimated Dak lol. Also, the Eagles quickly capitalized on their QB surplus and dumped Bradford on the Vikes for a 1st and 4th, replenishing some of that draft stock. Slick move by Philly.
