I think I'm moving

Hi everyone. It looks like I may be moving to Maine to live with my brother for a while until I can get my job situation worked out. It appears the last company I worked for is not only giving me a bad reference, but lying and saying things they shouldn't be saying, so companies in the area haven't hired me (some are still looking to fill the positions I applied to over a month ago). I have spoken to my friend who is an attorney in Washington state and we're planning our course of action. I'm not sure if I'll be able to post here for a while after I move in early July, but I won't be gone forever. I'm hoping to be on by the 2011-2012 hockey season at the latest, but I'm not sure at this point. If I'm not able to post here for a while, I will miss you guys until my return. Thanks everyone for making this a great place to post.

Good luck my friend and I hope things work out for you. I have a background with hiring and firing (along with other "Do's and Dont's" as pertaining to hiring practices and if you ever need someone to talk to and maybe for a bit of advise you know how to contact me. The laws don't vary much from state to state.

I'm sure things will work out for you in the long run.

Haha true enough. Although these days my heart has been more with my favourite junior team, which is in fact local, moreso than my favourite NHL team.
