I added this topic because, while we are all different I find most of you are pretty smart self thinkers.

I often find I can't find answers to simple questions because Google has a hard time with context. If I engage in conversation with average thinkers they get board and judge me - their loss.

A lot of us do this any ways, either in the middle of a different topic or in the my vibe thread.

I've read making fresh juice is super healthy. I've also read juicing isn't healthy because you streamline the sugar because the fiber slows digestion down.

I tried to Google pairing juice with oatmeal to see if that combination is a holier grail. Instead I get recipes for making oatmeal with juice.

This one is more of a rant. I don't expect anyone here has anything other than casual understandings like my own. However, sometimes hearing someone rephrase a question gives direction on "how to better ask a question".

I don't use a juicer. So that might disqualify me.

I use a porcelain press for all citrus. I drink a mixture of orange lemon and lime. Can't drink grapefruit because it really messes with several of the meds I take. (I take thirteen different meds every AM and PM.

I do buy 100% fruit juice if I can find it. The real stuff is very rare. Most 100% fruit juices are not. They all have apple juice as a supplement juice with the juice that you want. Most of the time I buy a bag of frozen triple berries. Raspberries, blackberries and blueberries. I have an allergy to strawberries.

I blend the berries into as close a liquid as possible and add orange juice or fat free vanilla Greek yogurt.

I know this doesn't completely answer your question. But allergies and meds can really push things completely sideways.

Everybody's different

Everybody's different but......
Oatmeal is one of those things that are good for almost everybody.
(Fruit) juice is good for you in moderate amounts. Excessive juice can wreak havoc with your blood sugar.
When I was a pro athlete and training heavily every day, juice could be good for me.
If you have anything close to pre-diabetes or metabolic resistance, its not good for you.
If you are living a mostly sedentary life now, juice can kill you!
If you want a glass of orange juice with your Sunday breakfast, have at it.
If you want to live a life full of fruit smoothies, please puit me on you will!
What was good for you (me) in your twenties is not good for you in your 50's +

I love me some Oatmeal. Breakfast for me is generally one of three things.

1. Oatmeal fruits and nuts added as I see fit

2. Rice Chex with a big handful or two of Blueberries. Love me some blueberries

3. Raisin Bran Crunch

I figured you'd like a "sheepherders breakfast"

(cu** and coffee)

Like most things, everything in moderation.

I'm lucky, I'm not really into sweet. If I do juice I usually cut it with soda water 50/50.

I do like smoothies for lunch. I vary the combinations. Fresh or frozen fruits and veg. Plain yogurt, sometimes a pre workout protien powder. I usually lift on the afternoon, cycle in the morning. Eat breakfast after cycling. Usually eggs with a protien, maybe on a healthy wrap. Dinner varies, I don't like to deprive myself. Some protien, very little beef. Mostly pork, chicken or seafood.

So much of eating for a healthy lifestyle comes down to your physical activities and what you're trying to achieve.

You blend a 2 year old seal (live or dead, doesn't matter - but dead ones beyond 48 hours should be kept in a brine solution) with Sunny D (no pulp naturally, this should be what you see available in the store), 2 cups of ice, and a Snickers bar.

Not a rant at all, totally understand the question and a juice question is important as it can set the tone for the day and even week.

had I to do it again, I woulda juiced when I was about 15/16 … then lived in the nautilus gym for a couple years and maintained that muscle with just isometrics for the duration … in the meantime, my breakfast of champions is frozen cranberries and walnuts added to the batter just after I pour it onto the grill … washed down with about 4 or 5 cups of Italian roast in the chemex and I’m good

A shark eating a seal seems like a very natural meal.
Everybody keeps telling us to "eat natural foods"
