i have to admit ive got some egg on my face cause of marty
i was thinking marty needed to retire last year and through out parts of this year
but he has stepped up in a big way for us toward the end of the season and the playoffs

Marty was solid but does anyone else think the rags shot blocking system burned the queen in the end.He looked really rusty at times.I also LMAO @ Marty during the presser with Parise and Henrique .For a while it looked like he was playing angry birds and he was making faces at the end.O love to see players with a sense of humor

Marty was hilarious in that presser. I have no clue what he was looking at, but at one point while Henrique is trying to concentrate marty started showing him something on the phone, and Henrique was losing it.

It's a rare thing for a top goalie to be so open and amicable. Guys like Joseph, Roy, and Hasek all have acid in their blood by reputation. Not Marty. Parise even mentioned how he can calm a bench about 4 times in the presser.

This is why I think Marty would be a great ambassador to the game.

He's smooth, calm, and can really handle pressure.

Marty came up huge in comparison...

Devils finally broke through to Lunqvist so the attention shifted back on Marty.

Not to mention, we beat the blocking system the rangers heavily employed.

What I loved about this series is, if we scored, we won... the only games we lost were shutouts... so once we got a goal... it was good night.... Poor Queen Henry.... see ya...
