Oh Tony, why would Bernier want to continue to ride pine behind Quick for the next 10 years? I think you're more concerned about diluting the goalie pool with Bobby Lou still looking for a new address. Happy Friday, by the way.

Too quick to ask to leave

i havent read the gallagher thing yet ... but why ask to leave now ? why not get some more minutes and build your cv ... because right now ... the career numbers are not earth shattering ... any team willing to commit long term to bernier is rolling the dice imo ... the way Quick is drinking his way through the post season, Bernier stands to get more minutes with the Kings next season

/he goes rfa next year right?

Yhe Kings also have their own "Eddie Lack" in Martin Jones who could be ready to assume the role of backup to Quick. It's hard to keep things hush-hush these days though, that's for sure and Bernier is itching to see more action.

Eddie Lack is not ready to back up ... no way ... would stunt his development ... and Im sure the Kings feel the same way about Martin Jones

Assuming Bobby Lou is indeed traded this off-season, who do you see backing up Crampy jstew?

/Just curious

theyre gonna go with a vet and its slim pickings ... Huet seems like he's on the radar

///Dan Ellis can email his resume to all the newpaper writers in vancouver he wants but there is no way the canucks can sign a guy who had his groin tear right off the bone last season ... in my world, training camp invite if he wants it

I largely want Theodore only because it means we have traded with FLA.
I like their prospect pool much more than Toronto's

Woodley certainly does make a good case for Huet. He should be an agent :)

Theodore + Bjugstad + pick for Luongo and I will pick Theo up at the airport and take him to my parents house for a home cooked italian meal :thumb:

why yes, i do take requests. Here's a selection for you.
it's suitable that a Tony Gallagher thread sooner or later turns to ass (you know, because he's an ass)

so on the radio, Gallagher says that strombone1 is likely not Luongo.
the listening world takes a collective gasp, then he confuses 'Chelsea Dagger' with 'Kelser Grammar', and the listening world goes "Oh right... it's this idiot."

the other night Dave Pratt kept tweeting at Botchford something to the effect of "admit it you are @strombone1" over and over again like it was some sort of criminal trial from a scene out of of Law and Order and pratt was a bumbling prosecuting attorney

/Gallagher had a Seinfeld "why do they call it Ovaltine" moment yesterday when talking about the abundance of swimming events at the Olympics

"why dont we have that stuff for track events ... sideways 100 metre sprint ... backwards 200 metre races ... gay gallopping 400 metre races ???"

/the gay gallopping entry was mine
