Funny for a city that has the image of being cutthroat and ruthless, the owners of these New York teams sure are loyal to their guys. The Knicks held on to Isiah Thomas for years even though he was arguably the worst GM in sports, Sather should have been fired years ago, the Mets finally parted ways with Omar Minaya and Jerry Manuel (at least 2 years too late). What gives?
