There have been things to complain about (before tonight), but you haven't been a big complainer at all. At least that I noticed. Some others, on the other hand....
The officiating crew got under my skin a little tonight. I thought they were pretty bad but the Broncos kicked the Packers' asses anyway.
Thought we were likely to have a top notch defense, which it looks like we do. Sure didn't expect to have a bottom of the barrel offense, however, so I loved the improvement tonight. Getting TEs and RBs going was huge, in my opinion. Hope to see that going forward.
The fans who suggested benching Manning look very FOOLISH right now. You do not mess with this chemistry. The defense is awesome, and we have a hall of fame QB that can dig down deep and play a big game even though his skills are diminishing.

Why ? ... because he looked shot going back to last season, and worse the first 6 games this year ? .....
This was a great win, but it was coming off a bye in perfect weather conditions .. I am really glad Manning summoned some balls and came out firing, but as we have seen with guys like Champ Bailey, the skills can go pretty fast ...
For me Manning was definitely on a short leash. The team was winning despite his play. If the losses started coming in then yeah definitely time to look elsewhere as his play if it had continued down that same path would have been a part of that in my opinion. The offense looked great and for the first time this year Manning actually looked comfortable in the offense we wanted to run. He looked very decisive with his passes and had some great zip on most of them. His deep ball accuracy looked so much better. Now this is one game. I am still a bit skeptical that we can continue to be this good on offense week in and week out but right now Manning looked the best he has looked against the best team we have played all year.
One thing I thought was interesting, during the broadcast one of the things they said is that Manning had told them that he thought indecision led to some of his accuracy issues. That certainly makes sense to me, but I hadn't really considered it before. If you're unsure of yourself, it could lead to mechanical breakdowns which could affect accuracy.
Last night was really the first time he's looked comfortable this season, and his accuracy was markedly better. I don't think he's thrown a better pass all year than that deep ball to DT early in the second quarter. And isn't this basically how we all envisioned the offense would look this year?
I expected the offense to struggle some early as the line got experience and Manning and the receivers got comfortable in the offense and got the timing down, and I think the team probably expected it, too. But I don't think anyone expected it to struggle as badly as it did. But maybe, just maybe, now that the line is gelling, and the running game is coming around, and DT gets over the dropsies, and Manning gets comfortable in the offense, this offense can turn into the unit we thought it could be leading up to this season.
