Amazing what a running game can do for a Qb. Actually, it's not amazing. It's critical. It opens up so many more opportunities in the pass game because the lbs have to respect the run and therefore, their late adjusting to pass routes over the middle behind. Pass pro was better because of the run game as well. Qb's bestest friend. Not surprising to me that Peyton looked better with a good run game. They all do.

Sort of lost in all the Manning / Kubiak / Offensive Line talk surrounding the offense is the fact that Bennie Fowler looks like the real deal . .

I loved his tackle on the punt / kick return ( forgot which it was ) - that tackle reminded me a little of Terrell Davis' tackle in that preseason game

Fowler looks so natural, and even indestructible out there - he springs up every time and is like "Let's do it again"

CJ looked like himself again too, for the first time this year

I do agree that CJ - was indeed the guy we saw last year - Hillman was good too, but CJ should get his job back soon.

In the NE game I think Fowler might be a guy we ought to pull out of the secret weapons and design a day that has him having a 100 + and everyone going wow who the hell was that and what just hit us ..

He definitely had some get up and go in this one. He had 2 problems in my opinion. His toe being one of those in he just not wanting to miss a game in fear of losing his starting job. Well his lack of production did that anyway. He also was struggling to see the holes that come from a ZBS running game. He finally saw some of those holes and exploded through them. Hopefully that continues.

Kubes said Ronnie will start again but he and CJ are both the 1's. He also made it a point to add that Juwan Thompson looked great in practice this week. Hint of things to come? Go Broncos!
