I actually like watching our baseball team more than our basketball team. Love what miles has done with the program, but I guess I like baseball more than basketball in general That and I like CWS tournament more than the Big Dance due to double eliminations etc (more fair). I think I am sitting in a small population of husker fans when I say I enjoy watching the baseball team more than the basketball team since we've made a climb in basketball. Anyone else prefer watching the baseball team instead of the basketball team or am I alone?

I wouldn't walk across the street to watch a basketball game, unless there's grass on the court, and they're playing baseball on it. Some of my best summer nights are spent at a minor league ball bark at whatever city I'm in at the moment, the teams don't even matter

See, to me it is the exact opposite of what RA said.

Baseball goes on and on and on and on......and then someone hits a grand slam in the top of the 8th inning 3 hours after the game started.

There is a certain aspect of luck that is involved in winning baseball games too that gets on my nerves. There are just days when the bats are finding the gaps.

With that said, I played the shit out of both all my life and baseball was definitely more fun in that regard. A lot of fun to play......boring as hell to watch.

I actually found a few years ago when I was betting on baseball that I enjoyed following the games more on gamecast than I did actually watching them. I think it is because I don't like how 98% of a baseball game consists of standing around......and it just gets boring to watch.

I haven't been a basketball fan since a kid by the name of Johnny Armstrong played for Omaha Central and could dunk the ball five million miles from the basket--this was before dunking was legal--yeah I'm that old. At that time ironically is when a local guy--by the name of Gibson was starting to make a name for himself with the St. Louis Cardinals. So, whether it's college or pro, I'll take baseball anytime.
