I disagree. Our defensive backfield is the best I remember at Nebraska (I'm young). the line blocked VERY well at Washington. (hoping they just had an off game).

also the play calling was fine, we had WIDE open receivers all game, and Taylor called his own number on the zone read play too many times..

I'm not worried about K-State...

by the second half, we stopped running the zone read and ran designed runs because he wasn't handing it off at the right times.

Takes time. He may have had to rely almost soley on himself in high school. He may not realize he is part of one of the most dangerous backfields in all of football.

Hey look guys, I don't mean to be negative, I'm just being realistic about our team. Over the years I've seen these same traits from NU teams that ended up just being average.

I agree we have issues but how do you explain the Washington game? I would call last season a good season with 10 wins. To me we seem better this year, the defense is as good and the offense without Lee is improved, no question. We are not a 14-0 team right now but we are a excellent team and maybe the best in the big 12 this year.

They way you talk we will loose 4 or 5 games. Why are people so high on the wildcats this year? They have many more issues than us.

I'm not high on the Wildcats, but again we have too many issues for anyone to expect an easy win or a lopsided win in Manhattan. Also, unless things get miraculously ironed out in the very near future, I truly expect 3 or 4 losses this year. Of course, I hope to hell we get the season I see us having when I have my rose colored glasses on!

As far as the Washington game goes I guess we'll have a better idea how good Washington is after this Saturday... They play USC in LA.

Whatever happens, I'll still be Husker fan from here to eternity. That's a long time!

Fair enough, I agree we won't come home with a 2 or 3 TD win on Thursday. I do think we are the better team and I think our Defense should be able to win the game for us.

I'm not worried about how many rushing yards he has. We all have seen he is able to run the ball for a 100 yards almost every game. I wanna see him when he meets a defence that shuts down his running game and he has to throw. I think thats where he need to get better at.
