Cool, it's neat if you get time to look at it and read the names on there. Gives you the chills.

Last year when we got our picture taken on the ice with it was a day me and my son will never forget.

I've always wanted my picture taken with it, but alas, the Bruins haven't won it in 38 years (I was 11 the last time they won it). Glad you got to see the players as they returned Q, that must have been awesome.

Imagine my surprise when I arrived at my work at the city-run art museum in Rocky Mount, NC when the CUP was on a table in the front lobby!!! The Canes just won it and unbeknownst to me the cup was making a stop there in town. I was there with is a full half hour before the museum opened...The line of about 100 people outside the museum in Hurricanes gear suddenly made much more sense.

I was fortunate in '91... I was permitted to lift the cup... I was a little too young and too much in awe to fully appreciate that moment when it happened.

lucky! i missed multiple opportunities last summer. i have a friend down the street who's cousin lives on the same street as someone in management, but i was away during that...i also missed my opportunity to see it at a bar about 10 minutes from me. regretting this greatly now. btw...isn't it a rule that you can't lift the cup above your head unless you were a part of the team/execs/etc.? because one of kaners friends did in the lockerroom...

Awesome... I remember standing outside of East Kentwood High School for about four hours waiting in line when Mike Knuble brought it back home. I probably have some pictures somewhere of me with the Cup, wearing giant dorky glasses.

And yes, reading the Cup is an experience in and of itself. So cool, so amazingly cool to see all those names on it. I'll never forgot.

I've been to the Hockey Hall of Fame in Toronto and got me a nice pic with Lord Stanley's mug. Really wanted to touch it as well, but I just couldn't bring myself to do it...

That's pretty sweet Q! Someone very few of us can claim to have done.

Have touched it, hugged it, taken photos with it, even laid a tiny kiss on it on several occasions...

Never lifted it. THOUGHT about it many times... couldn't do it. Just... couldn't... do... it...

Cool story Knumble. Cup never made it to our workplace. :-(
