Obviously not very confident out there. He seemed confident there for a second when he stopped negotiating and bet on having a great year in this offense.

You sound exactly like me the past 4-5 years man. Exactly! Deer in headlights with ANY kind of pass rush coming at him. No fire, no leadership = other players following suit. Bradford is the Premier QB in the league during training camp/preseason or when you are down 10-20 points and the opposing D is giving you the underneath passes... But when a good defense goes up against him and brings the rush? Our WRs dropped passes too. Could this honestly be a coincidence?

This is what we Rams fans saw for years:

SJ76...you are coming in peace as a Rams fan like myself to offer our sympathies to these poor Eagles fans. I really think they need to upgrade by starting Sanchez. That my friends is the best option for you. I have seen Bradford throw those bullets to WR's (that only Cris Carter could catch) for too many years. He simply has no touch in his passes and is terrified to throw longer than 15yds unless its a gimme where the WR is wide open.

I really think you guys are going to see the flaws in his game by the 8th game for sure. He simply has no touch and no leadership ability on the field. Again...I come in peace..not trying to get anyone agitated over this...just telling the truth. He will drive you crazy with his throwing bullets to wideouts that are 10yds away and having them bounce off their hands constantly. When a play goes wrong...you want your QB to be MAD...not droop his shoulders in despair as he walks to the sideline.

The funny thing about Sam is, is he always looked great in pre-season then completely flopped when it counted. By having this guy on our team for years only made him rich and our team terrible. He is a cancer, good riddance!!

I'd be very happy if I was a Rams fan after dealing Bradford. Foles may only be a stopgap, but he is no worse, he is a better leader, a bigger guy, and you got a second round pick out of the deal.

Don't forget a lot cheaper. I don't know what to tell you all. But something just ain't right with Sam. He may have a few good games against inferior defenses, but when you face a good one.. It's not pretty.

I just don't know what Chip is thinking.. As soon as he started this debacle letting go Maclin, McCoy and others.. Bringing in Sam into his Spread O and now Chip totally abandons the run game. Defenses are going to tee off on Sam in a spread O in the NFL.

Crazy

I don't want to make excuses for him but our line may actually be worse than the one he had with the Rams. I sure hope Chip figures it out because the QB/RB our going to get killed.

chip said he watch every snap Sam took in college and the pros.

Then he puts him behind this line. Maybe he hates Bradford and this is his ultimate revenge?

Any offensive line is most likely better than this current one

Chips biggest mistake was getting rid of our GUARDS without having true replacements. This idea that he can plug anyone in, as if this is college, is going to be his undoing.

I don't buy that Foles was all that. And it seems that Foles wanted out of PHI and was glad to go. So... no use really going there.

I am massively disappointed in what we have in Bradford tho. Everyone that watches the games notices open receivers (5 yards+ open) and Bradford doesn't seem to see it. I completely agree that he is not showing any leadership, positive body language or seem to have any fire at all.

Truthfully, if we get 1 more half of this, the halftime adjustments should include putting Sanchez in.

To me, Chip had little choice but to let Mathis and Herremans go. Herremans was coming off an injury, and getting old. He was mediocre. Mathis did it to himself with a ridiculous demand to re-negotiate his deal of over $5M. What would you do? What Chip should have done was to trade for a solid G to replace Mathis, and have Barbre and Andrews compete for the RG position. I think that if he can't get better play in the next 1 or 2 games, then he will make a trade.

You can't go 2 consecutive drafts not drafting an OL. That's where Chip went wrong. He knew before the draft 2 years ago that Mathis was a malcontent, and Herremans was getting older. It was an area of need back then and again this past draft. He has severely mis-evaluated his backup and project OL the last couple of years.

Bradford hasnt looked very good so far but neither has anybody else. Gotta give him a few more weeks before we stick a fork in him.

In all honestly, we should have all expected a slow start w/ all the new faces in key spots. This slow? Ehhhhhhhhh.

This is Chip's first year calling the shots in the draft.

I think blaming this on the guards is just inaccurate. Gardner played 8 games last year and Barbre has played alot as well and they did just fine. According to PFF, the guards were fine and it was Kelce and Peters that sucked.

I rewatched some of the game, and I did not see a single read option or play action fake. You need some more of misdirection in the NFL to be consistently successful. Otherwise the defense will outnumber you. The whole idea of the offensive design is to consistently put your offensive players in a position where they have a mismatch or the numbers. The Eagles failed woefully at that on Sunday. The only good news is that this is something that should be fixable from within.

This team needs three things to be successful.

1. For Peters and Kelce to play to their past level. I see no reason why they can't step it up.
2. For the coaches to put together a better game plan. I believe they will.
3. For Bradford to grow a pair and prove to be a gritty football player that can take a hit and put the ball over the top at times. I am not so sure.
