I title this thread "I can't", so you all can put in additional comments, but since I am starting.....

I can't; believe we lost this game!

I can't; believe we threw an interception in the endzone rather than throwing the ball away!

I can't; believe after a whole year of practicing together, this is the performance we ended the Big 12 Championship game with.

I can't; believe we did not let Rex run a few more plays to get us in field goal range on our next to last possession. Stick would have put up 3 where we were then!

I can't; understand how Martinez reverted to (deer in the headlights) mentality!

I can't; comment on Wats and what may or may not be happening!

I can't; go on with this thread right now as I am just sick and need a day or a few, to calm down... and post my thoughts in a rational way...

I can't; believe I have not eaten anything since Friday night and I could give a shit about food right now!

That is all I have for now... please continue..... if you desire?

hey there BRS, we missed you this week..

seems like people all over the interweb are talking up Carnes for next season already :L

I feel bad for Taylor, but don't understand why he wasn't pulled in the game..

I just can't take the heartbreak right now. One year after the 00:01 fiasco and we are in almost the SAME EXACT place we were then. I honestly don't care who we play in the loser bowl....we could win 100-0 and I wouldnt feel any better...Just another "what if" year, where we had 3 losses by a combined total of 13 pts.

Sorry all; just slammed this past week...

As for Carnes... ya know, it's hard to say anything right now about next year, heck... I have a hard time telling you what happened yesterday, let alone looking into next season.

As for Taylor, I just am perplexed. I do not know if his injuries has caused him to operate in scared mode or what? I am not the coach, but it really bothers me that they can see what many see, and refuse to act on it. We should have rode Rex like a horse last night, the young man had the fire burning and was not going to be denied!

(Just my opinion)

Steve Taylor talked a lot last night about Taylor Martinez and how it was completely obvious that he was not 100%. Running the zone-read with Martinez was completely ineffective.......but running the zone-read with Burkhead was completely effective.

Why is that? Because as Steve Taylor said, it was obvious that Taylor Martinez could not cut or take off at full speed. On that zone-read it's all about getting that quick burst off the line of scrimmage, and he just couldn't out run any defenders.

Steve also noted how some of Taylor's sacks (not all of them, because some were just plain dumb) could have been avoided if Taylor could have taken off, mainly on those blitzes.........but Steve said that the coaching staff after the game mentioned something about how Taylor Martinez mentioned that it was like "walking on needles" when he planted his foot to throw or take off running.

That is my whole point I guess.......the coaching staff knew it the whole time. I would have rather they put in Zac Lee to be honest.

That could have easily gone just as bad with injuries..

I have a feeling Cody would have won the game, but it's pointless to speculate because the game would have been different entirely

Sure NU has problems on offense.

I give credit where credit is due and Oklahoma won the game. They did just enough. They made the adjustments, covered rcvrs, and brought the heat.

Bo said Zac was 100% for the Colorado game already.......but Bo basically says everyone is 100%. Zac did come in at the end and threw a few passes with ease and ran with ease in that game........so I don't think there is much wrong with him.

I just would have liked to see experience on the field.
