I applaud Nebraska, Michigan and Northwestern

for trying to bring exciting offenses to the B1G. Obviously all three have sacrificed any sort of defense for trying to make their prolific offenses, but nonetheless, these three teams provide more excitement then the rest of the B1G. And if they succeed and these offenses prove to beat up the B1G and give these teams conference titles then the rest of the teams will be forced to adapt and become just as exciting to keep up.

I just hope that in a few years we don't get all excited having Tommy Armstrong and/or Johnny Stanton at QB and then we don't have shit to back them up and end up regressing on the Offensive side of the ball.

We need to get to the point where we are recruiting a good balance between Offensive and Defensive players, instead of just focusing on what we need right now.

I'm not trying to say Nebraska's D is better than Oregon's right now. I'm saying it's not MUCH better.

Nebraska plays bend don't break. You dink and dunk your way down the field and Bo forces you to play disciplined mistake free football... Then when you get inside the 20's the gaps tighten up and the end zone is an extra defender. Was that way in '09 and '10 when we had the number 1 and 9 scoring D's respectively.
