You don't even need to ask, Foot. You know the answer.

Okay - you know that Garçon is the guy to have this year, but you have this creeping anxiety about missing out on the talented unheralded rookie who looks like he should blow past the plodding vet.

Yes. Garçon.

But Sam gets kudos for the early ID on Hyde.

Be happy and prosper, Foothopper! Carlos Hyde in the long run will be able to snatch more pebbles from your toes, but Garcon will snatch more this year............and remember, he who goes to bed with itchy butt wakes up with stinkey finger.

I think if you took a nation wide poll - this would be the first question ever to get 101%.

Garcon.

Since Foot plays in a dynasty league, there are many people who would prefer Hyde and have indicated such on this thread.

My answer:

It depends what you are looking for. This is a classic now vs. future deal. I think Hyde will have much greater value for the long term, but you will be giving away current production to get him. If you can afford to give away Garcon without hurting your chances this season too much, then Hyde could be a franchise cornerstone for years to come. Garcon's value will never be higher than it is today.

I'm going with Hyde. Tlance is "the voice of reason" and this being a full keeper league I am going to lock down my future RB. Plus I am starting to think you can get wrs for a dime a dozen these days as every team is passing the ball more and True "carry the load" RBs are becoming more and more ixstinct (however the heck you spell that word).

Bad move, IMO. You don't even know that Hyde will turn out. There will be plenty of maybe prospect Rbs down the road. This year it is Ball, Lacy, Stacy, etc. next year it may be Sankey, Hyde, etc.

A bird in the hand vs 2 in the bush my man.
