Preseason coaches poll released.

Huskies start out of the top25 which I was expecting with a new HC, OC, and no spring camp to get any sense of who will be taking over at the QB position.

As usual, were going to have to earn our rankings this year.

The fear of not playing in the fall is that it could hurt recruiting.

I've had this conversation with one of my Duck buddies, truth be told Dawgs have 13 scholarship seniors this year, 13! That isn't a lot, plus you also factor in what happens to those 13 seniors next year? I mean the NCAA is going to grant a 5th year to all these seniors not playing this fall.

In the end I don't think recruiting is going to hurt since the NCAA will have to either raise the scholarship amount or they flat out don't honor all seniors which would basically set them up for a major lawsuit

Good news on the roster front for the season coming up in Nov. Appears they will be rhe only ones opting out for the NFL draft.

Feels like it's been more than a year since we have seen husky ball.

It's starting soon. Great to see the practice updates coming this week. Can't wait to hear the sweet, swet music of the siren blasting at Husky Stadium.

How do you guys all feel about this abbreviated season?

Perhaps I'm a debbie downer, but even before the pandemic I expected 8 wins at best and expected this year to be a step back given all the transition at key positions.

I really haven't been all that hyped about the start of the season and have followed college football less than I have in any other year.

At this point I see this as the equivalent of a preseason for 2021. At this point I'm mostly looking forward to seeing the growth of our younger guys, but I really don't have any strong expectations for this season and feel as if this season will always have an asterisk next to it.

If the team does do well, it will really be a huge boost of confidence for me in the ability of the coaching staff.
