Newton being the workhorse is fine but when you want to see a RB rip a big one then it was Ahmed all the way.

Ahmed for sure is a bigger home run threat. Newton is the guy I want to see on short yardage situations.

I've been asking for an OC for 5 years. It's like Christmas all over again.

They need to get this right. It's the difference between mediocre and high level competitive.

I'm not sold on Moore as OC. Wouldn't say hate it, but he'd have to prove it. He's only been in coaching two years with one season as OC. I know he's got a lot of Petersen's scheme and it was NFL experience, but still not much. Hell Hamdan has more experience lol.

It's not a slam dunk he's available anyway. McCarthy says he likes him and it very well could end up he stays. I guess we will see how much Petersen is still working things behind the scenes.

Wouldn't be the sexy hire I wanted, but probably still better than their last two.
