Huskers alternate uniforms 2014

There's more to it than just the recruiting aspect. Adidas pays Nebraska a lot of money to use their products. I would be willing to bet that us wearing alternate uniforms has less to do with recruiting and more to do with our contract with Adidas. They want to show their stuff off.

That is my thought exactly and I have no problem with it but PUHLEEEEEEZ we're not going to lose by 20, 30 even 40+ points multiple times a year, every year, and still pull in the commits because Adidas designs a great looking uniform.

Has anyone thought about the whole B1G Conference going all UnderArmour because of the Maryland/Kevin Plank connection? Not saying this year or at least until the gear contracts expire. Nebraska needs style for alts and of course not lose the games, and stay the hell away from all white road unis...

Bo said in his presser the other day that we will never see Nebraska wear stylish alts.

He said we want to do something fun each year without destroying tradition.

Adidas probably just fits us to be honest.

I honestly can't imagine anything cool that can even be done with our uniform while keeping it conservative at the same time.

If we're going to do this once a year then we're already fucking with tradition anyways, mine as well go the extra step and get all flamboyant with it. I'm talking chrome helmets and all that.

The alts we wore vs. Wisconsin were quite honestly gayer than aids in reality, and then last year we wore black jerseys.......which I thought I'd like more than I actually did.

Just go all out. Fuck it. Let's get weird.
