By the way, whoever that guy is, he is full of shit. Try to recruit players into a major conference when you have the worst facilities in the entire country, and you're the doormat of the conference.

It ain't gonna happen.

It's like trying to get bluechip recruits to go play for the Indiana football team. The only way they're ever gonna do that is if they build some emaculate stadium/facilities.

Tom Osborne would never hire Bruce Pearl.............Bruce Pearl is scum.

Tom Osborne will allow Doc until 2014 to prove that the new facilities and stadium can bring in better recruits. I know this information...........you can take it from me.

Nothing.

But the previous coaches weren't bad coaches either. We have never had anything here to bring in recruits.

If you were a 4-star basketball recruit and you had Kansas, Oklahoma, Texas, and Nebraska after you...........would you seriously choose Nebraska? A school who has put 3 guys in the NBA?

I mean, I can tell you all right now, this year is going to be rough............we may not win 3 games in BIG conference play. The BIG is by far and away the best conference in the nation this year, and Nebraska has by far and away the most difficult schedule out of anyone in the conference.

But just give him 2 years............trust me.

Pearl is one hell of a coach........but the guy can't help but be devious in his ways it seems.......and it's a shame, cuz he has potential to be one of the best.

We had everything going for us when he was here. Recruiting was great, Tennessee got it's 1st #1 ranking ever, went to multiple Sweet Sixteens, was 2pts away from making the Final 4. He put Tennessee basketball on the map and now everything is back to square one. All because of a recruit being at a BBQ.

Bruce Pearl was and still is the shit! I remember before Doc came and Nebraska was looking for a coach, and wishing we would hire Bruce. He is the shit and one hell of a coach. I remember him getting painted up and cheering in the student section at a Lady Vols game and thought that was cool. Plus, who doesnt like to root for a guy who wears the Tennessee orange blazer and orange suspenders to games!!!
