So I just found out that I will likely have to make a trip out westward in the direction of Chadron on Saturday morning. I will make it there at least 4 hours before the game, but I need to know if I am going to be able to watch this dadburned game or not.

If I get out there and I have a different game on ABC, I am going to punch my fist right through the television set. Do any of ye know of any bars out in that direction that will surely have the game? Do any of ye know for sure if I will see the dadburned game out there?

Next question..........I understand that I will probably not have great radio signal once I start getting a couple hours west. If I buy an XM device and get an XM monthly subscription, will I be able to get a signal out towards the panhandle? I MUST hear football during this drive, or I will kill myself.

Any help is appreciated. Any tips are appreciated. Anything at all is appreciated as I am fureaking out! Thanks!

The ABC game is national. the 7PM game I don't believe is ever regional.

I don't know about XM, but I do have sirius radio. The only time I don't have reception is when it's raining, storming like hell out. It has to be extremely bad weather for me to lose signal. It has fussball galore..

And even out in the panhandle I should get that signal? I will seriously pay $100 if I have to.

I am 100% for sure that bars in Chadron, Nebraska will have the game on...........if they don't then they all need to be punched in the face. That would be a disgrace to the state of Nebraska.

What I'm most worried about now is being able to listen to football on the trip out there. I know the radio basically doesn't work in the panhandle, and there is no cell service out there either.........so I'm worried about getting XM or Sirius signals

Dude;
I had signal all the way to Corpus Christi, TX and back.... I'm sure you'll find it more than adequate. It's never disappointed me, until I run into really shitty weather.

sirius is satellite; just like dishnetwork-direct tv and I would assume xm is also. Where you go; it goes.

No having to dial in an antenna; just set it on the dash and let it do the rest. It will acquire the signal on it's own.

jjm;
On sirius; I don't know how many football games are on. There's a shit ton though. On the display it will tell you who is playing. It's not like you have to listen to a station to figure out who's playing. It tell's ya.

I take it out on the boat all the time. It's better than FM by leap's and bounds.

They'll give you the radio free if you join the service. I get it for my boat in the summer. $10 month.

I have XM and it's great (I'm a little pissed they cut some of my country music channels, but can't live without it for sports)......

You could drive from Miami to Seattle and not have to change the channel.....

I've never even had any problems with heavy rain, but I could see that possibly being a problem.....I just haven't ever lost signal even through some heavy monsoon downpours.....
