I hope TZ doesn't mind me taking a crack at this.Tz...
Has a team that has gotten off to this bad a start ever won the series?

I went back to 79, and yes two teams have won a WS with this bad a start, meaning the first 11 games.
'91 twins won 2 of their first 11 games, and the '02 angels won three.
There is *always* a chance. There are 162 games, dudes (and dudettes). Seriously, stop freaking out.
That's just it, I'm not freaking out, in fact other than Nolan on the general MLB board I don't think any of the SportsHoopla crowd is. This year just doesn't matter. They suck ass right now. Maybe they will all year, maybe they will turn it around. I'm quite fine with either of those. Lots of baseball left, maybe they get healthy and compete. Maybe Cain comes back solid and Heston stays solid and Peavy and Vogey don't matter and Belt starts hitting and Pence is good, etc. Or maybe they really will suck. It's all good.

The Giants just tied their worst SF starting record (i.e., since the team moved to SF). That year was 2000. The same year they ended with the best record in all of MLB. They haven't even played 10% of the games yet.
Thought that was Miley Cyrus at first.
Looks like Timmeh is pulling his hair out over this streak...

Aren't we all. Well almost all.The injury bug sure is not giving any mercy... The biggest concern, does seem to be the pitching staff at this point. Still trying to be optimistic at this early point in the season.

I'm looking for solid SP every game. The games we get that, I'm pleased...win or lose.
When we don't, I fill my diapers.
