If this article is any indication, then yes, this will be Howard's final year as a Bear, along with a not-so-subtle hint that we may be looking at the RB position with our first pick in '19, which of course is not until the 3rd round.

Why Howard's fit in Nagy's offense is an issue

We lost in Miami because of the failure to run Howard, IMO.

Should've bee the focal point of the offense in that game.

Howard fits fine. He's been catching the ball well. Nagy is a very intelligent young coach, but he's a bit too obsessed with his gadgets. I suspect he will slowly begin to learn to trust his bell cow more and stop getting so damn cute all of the time.

All apart of the process. Highs and lows early on. If we win the next couple like I believe we will... I think we'll begin to roll. We're so damn close. Just a break or two in each loss. I mean, jeez. It's going to all click and Howard will be a key part of it.

All 3 losses are because we don't use Howard the right way. Pound and control the ball late in games and were 6-0. But I don't see us giving Howard his big payday coming. Our rook coach is learning too I hope.
