His replacement could very well be on the team already - Greg Jackson (currently the assistant secondary coach). Prior to joining the 49ers he was a coach in college for 8 years. He also played in the NFL for 12 years.

Well this is a bummer. Still, it's not a complete blow to the team. The Eagles must have a lot of confidence in him to feel that he's the guy to turn around that Defense.
