How popular is college basketball where you at?

I've been to a couple of concerts in T&M. Haven't seen a ballgame their yet but it seems like a pretty cool venue. Most of my Vegas trips tend to be around WSOP time so I usually don't get to see any sports. I also am told I spent a fair amount of time at the sports book at the Bellagio during the final four a few years ago, but I'll be damned if I remember it. Now that I think of it, I also saw a concert at Sam Boyd Stadium.

If youre ever in town, i'll buy a couple rounds.

UofA fans are unlike anything else. They travel everywhere... eat breath and sleep with Wildcat basketball on their minds. Not just in Tucson either. It's pretty crazy.

I lived in San Antonio for a little over a year (all of last season) and no one gave a shit about CBB. It sucked because I don't like the NBA and it's obviously all anyone wanted to talk about. Happy to be back in Tucson where it's so often the topic of conversation.

I think it's pretty safe to say that if there is a really good CBB team in the vicinity then people are more apt to like it. It also helps if it's the only show in town.

Not as popular as it was in the 90's, but it still gets a good amount of support. Football is obviously still king though. And college baseball is more popular here than most places.
