You guys are crazy there is talent on this team.
There is talent on this team, but there are still huge holes and questions. Too many, in fact, to consider us any real threat to compete for the division. The best that we can hope for is to be competitive in most games (we have not been the last 2 years) and maybe finish up close to .500. That would be a realistic goal for this year.

S and OL to name two. We have prospects at both but by no means have the definitive answer for either. But really, if RG3 Bombs again, does it make any difference?

Here are a few more:

WR.......weak in the red zone because of lack of height and in the short passing game because there is no
Possession receiver.

RB......weak in the passing game as there is no receiving guy in place. The new draftee could provide extra blocking and some pass catching abilities, but just like every other back on the roster, unproven.

TE..........Health, health, health, beyond that we don't have one who provides consistent blocking.

ST..........Poor kick coverage and return issues. One draftee won't change that. Team still will own rankings among worse number of touchbacks on kickoffs.

DC and HC both still in training mode, inexperience loses games.

RT tackle should not be a hole now with the drafting of Scherff. Hopefully the guard play picks up with the addition of Callahan. We have experienced safeties with nfl starting experience. I wouldn't call that a hole. If we are stating 5th to 7th round rookies at safety then yes its a hole but we are not doing that. I agree if the Qb cant produce we cant win but you can say that for any team.

Redzone WR could be a problem that is why I wanted Strong in the 3rd round. He would of solved that problem. RB and TE are not holes on this team. Grudens play calling should get better this season. But the original question was about talent. We have talent on this team.

here are the facts dean . 5 of the last 6 years we have been dead last ? why ? because our coach cant call red zone plays ? thats it ? couldnt be our qb play is pathetic ? our special teams are hot garbage

lets talk safety depth , we have the ancient golston and a 4 year special teams guy in johnson and a list of SS's and no FS's

and injury to hatcher throws the d/line into a mess

a kr/pr my country for a returner

an injury or 2 at wr and we start grant and crowder

williams make us an injury away from compton chester could win the job at RG

we have some spot talent on the roster but we dont have any real depth hence we arent competing for a division title unless we are extremely lucky

until proven otherwise the other 3 teams in our division outclass us by a great distance

a good half of our moves might work out

i am sorry but anyone saying we have the talent to win the division is just plain kidding themselves
with the right moves in next year's draft we could contend for a WC spot in 2016 assuming RG3 somehow stabilizes the QB situation.

johnson has NO starting experience in the NFL and thomas davis robinson have but a handful of games combined . goldston is on the wrong side of 30 and is a stop gap

the o/line will also need to to jell

Tons of people called Sherff a Guard. We don't know what we have in him yet. Don't know what to do with Moses yet. Who is our backup LT? Chester and Lich are undersized. Lauvao and Long have not yet panned out.

Thats just the OL.

TE is a hole. Safety is a hole. Safeties can't cover. ILBs can't cover. OLBs can't cover. who's coing to cover?

Andre Roberts is Meh at BEST. I wish we had never picked him up, and especially not at that price.

Do we even have a Kickoff specialist to get us touchbacks? Our special teams has been horrendous.

Texans wide receiver Jaelen Strong had a rough first day of minicamp. The third-round draft pick struggled in the 88 degree Houston heat.

"He needs to get in better condition. I'd say that about virtually every guy out there," coach Bill O'Brien said, per the Houston Chronicle.

no role? red zone threat. Only WR who wins contested catches. Good insurance if Garcon leaves or Jackson gets hurt. Don't get me wrong Crowder will contribute in the slot and on special teams. Reminds me of Antwan Randel El. Talent alone Strong was a late 1st early 2nd round pick. I think he dropped b/c of his wrist injury.

he dropped because he was a buffoon in the interviews and acted like he was hiding something with his injury . he didnt do follow ups .

i just dont think strong was worth a 3rd rounder to us because , again he is 6th on the depth chart and he cant play special teams . so he can win a jump ball or 2 in the red zone . so what ? you cant suit him up because he is worthless on special teams

How would he be the 6th WR? IF we drafted Strong in the 3rd we wouldn't of drafted Crowder. Strong would of competed with Roberts and Grant for the 3rd or 4th WR. The Steelers and Texans did do follows ups on him and the wrist was ok. Plus its only wrist not a knee. He was great value in the 3rd.

Did you know that Jones had a knee injury and still went in the 3rd. A lot of GM's and scouts are laughing at us at that pick.

i will say it again ,he would not beat any of our starters out , he couldnt beat roberts or grant out , crowder would have been drafted because we need return help and he cant help us on special teams hence he wouldnt dress out

i could care less about jone's knee it has nothing to do with a guy who would be 7th on the depth chart in the woulda could shoulda world you live in

jones is a BU to AM . he can pick up the blitz in pass pro and he plays special teams

strong from arizona was so out of shape he couldnt deal with the texas heat which i have to laugh at because arizona state is in the dead center of the dessert so dealing with heat should NEVER be and issue

He would of been a great pick for the future. Many scouts and GM's believe that Strong was a great value pick in the 3rd round. The way you talk is if he shouldn't of been drafted. So you don't care about drafting a RB in the 3rd round that had a knee issue? But drafting a WR with a wrist issue trumps a knee issue?

Hey im happy with getting Crowder but to say he is a better WR prospect than Strong right now is kind of crazy. I hope im wrong for the teams sake.

If the Skins didn't care about knee issues why not just draft Gurley at #5?

we dont need a future wr we can draft one when the time comes

i did nt say the skins didnt care about knee injuries i said i didnt care about a knee injury to a rb because he played with no effects

as for gurley do i need to go there ? he wasnt a top 5 talent
