I’m not saying I blame jerrah now that it’s gotten this far. I would let him hit fa next year and take the comp pick. Don’t go stupid and use a second tag like you know who did

nobody on Dallas sports radio has talked about 40M. The local guys who cover this team is more in the know than a national guy trying to get clicks. Everything I've read was 33M to 35M average over 5 years. Dak wanted 4 years. Dak's group feels like they have 68M in the bank over the next two seasons and pushed to get a piece of the new TV money coming. Jerry said 5 years and thus he's playing on the tag...something both sides seem comfortable with

Sometimes I hate the national media but I did hear those numbers as well.

Never said 40 I said at least 37.

I’ve shot your theory down about the skins lowballing Kirk too. They offered him the same the girls are saying they offered yak. Both teams have claimed they were going to make them the second highest paid. Problem is the guaranteed part of that.

Ok, someone else mentioned 40. I'll wager right now he doesn't ask for nor get 37M next season.

And no you didn't shoot down the Skins lowballing Cousins

I can post more, but you shoud get my point.

I said it was about the guaranteed money. I’m just saying brucifer said the same thing jerrah is saying, it would make them the second highest paid qb. I’m sure the details of the contract were lowball, and the same with daks

Redskins weren't even matching the FT price on Cousins, that is no where near the 2nd highest paid QB.

I don’t know what they offered. All I can say is the man said it would make him the second highest paid. Jerrah is probably using the same playbook

The agent works for Dak so one would think that's the number they both feel is the starting point. If the agent nor Dak put out the 40mil per, than who did to get everyone talking about it?
Everyone is absolutely not talking about that being the number so I'm not sure how to answer your question.
