Inquiring minds would like to know
I just want to be cool like @dbldwn711
Hopefully this is ok with @Brees#1.
Dalton to Dallas is very boring. He probably won't play and if he does, he won't be very effective. Would have been interesting to see Belichick try to get something out of Dalton. Won't happen now.
We won’t know till he tries
This is the harshest "How long does X stick with Y before going to Z" QB thread yet.
What- were Josh Freeman and Rex Grossman not available? Who is this madman GM in Dallas that keeps making these bonehead moves?
Oh dont be such a sourpuss
It's just too bad. Dalton has starting QB talent. You'd think he could find a better situation than Dallas.
Are you kidding me? I’m reading books on the outside just to keep up with you!!
Im surprised he didn’t end up in Pittsburgh. Are you?
No, not really. Colbert and Tomlin seem to still have belief in Rudolph as a worthwhile backup (for whatever reason)
Not sure how you see it as a boneheaded move.
It's a shame that Garrett is no longer there, then Red could go to Red if Dak was struggling or hurt.
I love this thread simply because I know @Brees#1 wont like it.
Btw... can any of you guys help me with my homework? If yes, please send me a PM. I don’t wanna start a thread.
NO THEY WOULD NOT LIKE TO KNOW!!!!!!!!!
Let's count 'em up:
Dak Prescott will be paid $31 million under the franchise tag
It creates a QB controversy with a decent caliber Dalton
Harder to sign Prescott to a new contract
Dalton isn't a transformative QB who can put the team on his back
Paying Dalton $7 million puts him almost as the top-paid backup
Committing $38 million to one position makes it difficult to fill needs elsewhere
Dallas just got done with one useless, soulless redhead, now signs another
You would rather have Cooper Rush as your backup QB on a team likely to make a deep play off run?
Separate names with a comma.
